Dan's Composition Helper

Welcome!!!

Hey there!  This is Dan.  Welcome to my website.  I designed this site to provide you with helpful resources as you work your way through English Composition 101 and 102.

So, how should you use this site?  Well, when the semester begins, you should be sure to browse through it, just to see what is available. If you are new to college, check out the "College Survival Tips" page.   Once assignments start becoming due, be sure to consult with the "Resources for College Writers" page for links that will help you improve your work. You can visit the "Video Tutorials” to see how to accomplish things like the proper formatting for assignments using Word.  If you have a question, and it is the middle of the night, try clicking on "Writing Forums" to see if someone has found a solution to your question.  If you are having trouble with class work, for any reason and you need extra support in addition to working with me, click on “Help!"

Sometimes, when we get overwhelmed with schoolwork, it is important to take a break for a while to let our thoughts marinate.  You may find something to chuckle at in "English Class Humor!!!" And be sure to also visit the "...Loaf and Invite..." page for some fun things to help you de-stress and take the time out to breathe.

Well, that's it.  I hope you enjoy the site and find it useful.  Feel free to use this site for any of your classes and tell your friends about it if you think it will help them.  Happy Writing!
